Organisation

The Palmpilot I bought off uBid is on it's way. Woohoo! New toy. New old toy. It's an older model Clie, the TJ-37. good thing Sony has decided to stop making Clies. Yay. But I need a palm pilot, I think. I need to start organizing my life because if I don't, I'll just end up wasting time, playing NBA Live '04 Dynasty Mode forever and ever - which could be cool as well, but not that productive.
The Clie kinda has sucky battery life so that's going to suck but it's got a camera, color screen! (i was still using my Palm III), and other crap too. I'm also trying ACT out to see if it can help me get organized. I was thinking of putting my acting stuff in there as 'Sales Opportunities'. They say you have to treat acting like a business so...
Sales Opp: Role of Jimmy Izumida in American Pie 4
Sales Amt: $5 and a copy of the DVD when it goes straight there for release
Expected Close Date: May never get out of development hell - probably where it should stay
Sales Stage: Why make American Pie 4?
Next Sales Stage: Why watch American Pie 4?
Probability: How do you put a number on "When Hell rises to the Earth?"
Pain points: I'm not Japanese. Can I be an Izumida? Can I be truthful to the character? I'll need to create Jimmy's objective and superobjective around why he feels like having sex with oboe. Challenging character - will have to dig deep emotionally.
If you don't understand any of the above, read the extended entry.

[ELYSE HOUSTON] 17 years old, the ultra-intense Drum Major for the East Great Falls High School Band, Elyse is a serious musician, a composer who is desperate to get accepted to the prestigious Robards Conservatory of Music. She's known Matt Stifler since elementary school, and has been disappointed by his flawed character time and again. Well aware that he lurches awkwardly between being a vaguely decent human being and a preening, leering, bragging, skirt-chasing, prank-playing imbecile, Elyse is deeply distressed when he comes to Band Camp, convinced that his mere presence speels doom for her future. Not wealthy enough to blow off a potential scholarship, and attracted to Stifler in spite of herself, Elyse sees Matt veer back and forth between his lovable personal and his priapic "Stiffmeister" routine, and just when she despairs of him ever doing something thoughtful or kind, Stifler maddeningly breaks every rule in the book to get her into Robards...LEAD
[ERNIE KAPLOWITZ] 16 years old, a nervous kid with skinny features, wearing braces and a thin, wispy mustache, Ernie is a classic band geek, a saxophone player who's so agitated it makes him a dorky, stumbling klutz. Too much the doofus ever to get a girlfriend, Ernie is attracted to goth girl Chloe Gonzalez, but is too terminally uncool ever to score points with her. A nice guy with a very straight-edged view of romantic ethics, Ernie is assigned to be Matt Stifler's roommate, and his lie is transformed by his contact with the Stiffmeister. He woos Chloe by letting himself be tattooed to match her, and though she initially rejects him for his association with the odious Stifler, he ultimately gains enough cool and control to become Chloe's lover...LEAD
[OSCAR HOLMES] 17 years old, a big, African-American snare drummer with the East Great Falls High band, Oscar loves to jazz up simple drum rolls with fancy stick tricks. Buddies with Jimmy Izumida, Oscar grows increasingly irritated with Jimmy's pretense of being a ghetto street gangsta-wannabe. During Band Camp, Oscar has a sexy amour with Sheree, and when he learns that Stifler has videotaped his sizzling encounter with her, Oscar is livid, ready to terminate Stifler, and Matt has to work hard to regain Oscar's good will...LEAD
[JIMMY IZUMIDA] 17 years old, a skinny Japanese-American trumpet player, Jimmy is an Asian kid who wants to be way more streety than he in fact is. Jimmy's nickname is "Horndog," because he will stick his weiner into anything -- like an oboe. Trying to counteract his band geek reputation by talking in a thick ghetto patois, Jimmy irritates his buddy Oscar by using terms like "dawg" and referring to himself as "a brother." Oblivious to Oscar's irritation, Jimmy finally drops his LL Col J routine after Oscar gives him a tongue-lashing that's straight outta Compton...LEAD
[CHLOE GONZALEZ] 17 years old, the tuba player with the band, Chloe is a tattooed, pierced punk, a goth girl with six piercings, long black fingernails, and a "Star Baby" tattoo. Uninterested in the ever-geeky Ernie Kaplowitz, Chloe sits up and takes notice when Ernie sends her a soda with the aid of a talking robot, and she nicknames him "Cyrano" as a result. But later, she turns on Ernie when he's implicated in Matt Stifler's Crimes Against Band Camp Humanity. Called "Star Baby" by her doting mother, who wanted her to be the next Britney Spears, Chloe melts when the doting Ernie, who really loves her, has a matching "Star Baby" tattooed on his body...LEAD
[JOHN NELSON] In his 40s, Nelson is the director of the Band Camp, a stolid, humorless man who is wholly unprepared for the havoc wreaked by Matt Stifler. A strict disciplinarian who is disappointed in Mr. Levinstein's touchy-feely efforts to maintain order, Nelson has one unhappy run-in after another with Stifler's pranks, all of which seem to be either gooey or sexual -- or both...LEAD
[BRANDON VANDECAMP] 17 years old, a self-assured, god-looking, all-American "uber-bandy," Brandon is the front runner to win the scholarship to the Robards Conservatory, and he's pretty damn full of himself. A bandy from the Beechwood Academy, Brandon enforces the "beanie rule" with a martinet's love of meaningless discipline, and is determined to out-perform Elyse in the final competition. Brandon and his posse of henchmen regularly cross paths with the maddeningly chaotic Matt Stifler...LEAD

STORY LINE: When a group of musically inclined high school students spend the summer at Band Camp, they find their lives ruined when manic prankster MATT STIFLER joins their ranks, and his sex-obsessed antics transforms their musical summer into an orgy of practical jokes and candid-camera videos that makes Matt the Most Hated Clown In Band Camp History...
