what's up? where the updates been? why are there still pictures of the magnificent Mr. vincent up? well I'll tell ya.
i have just been having a busy last few weeks all culminating in getting robbed in Vancouver Canada, the city of apparently "hundreds of car break-ins a day", according to the fine Vancouver emergency services. That story is too long to go into right now, as I'm about to go to bed in preparation for another few days away from home - it's getting old... But I'm sure I'll have time to comment on it later.
Meanwhile, in acting news, I had two auditions today. I made choices and did them - even if perhaps they were the wrong choices... oh well. Starting up improv again real soon - March 30th. and I saw Neil LaBute's "This Is How It Goes" with Ben Stiller, Amanda Peet, and Jeffrey Wright. Good show, great play - one wonders how it would do without the star power. I feel like I saw them do so many things an acting teacher would tell us not to do, lots of pacing back and forth, non-specific gestures, really really really speedy dialogue - I guess it works for some plays and others, it's not so appropriate.
ok, off to bed. will update the top page soon... hope i get a new laptop soon and setup soon. this backup laptop crap is pissing me off.. and I just started rebuilding my old machine too. SUX!
